My Story

For me, my creativity is a gift that I could no longer keep inside. In 2000 I spontaneously started making paintings without having attended art school, purely self-taught. Completely from within came an urge to make paintings. I had no idea why, but one thing is for sure: it is pure enjoyment for me!

    We started representing several artists in addition to my own paintings.

  • Construction of my first atelier/gallery

    300 m2 of pure love

  • Founding of Rogerruttenpaintings.nl

    The numbers grew and the focus had to return to my own paintings.

  • First private art session

    2009

  • 18 months of exhibiting in New York!

    Exhibition Agora Gallery, Chelsea New York (2012, 2013).
